The World’s Greatest One Man Band – Lee Moyer – presents positive, upbeat musical programs reminiscent of “Your Hit Parade,” “Sing Along With Mitch and the Gang,” and the Lawrence Welk show.
The shows feature historical commentary about the music, composers and current events of the times.
An experienced band leader and entertainer, Moyer conducts the Technics Keyboard Orchestra as a
foundation for programs that include sing-along and vocal and trumpet solos of all styles of music from the past 100 years with emphasis on 1900 to 1960. All the music is performed live and is customized to each audience.
Moyer, who graduated from Hershey High School and Lebanon Valley College has directed a church choir, a senior citizens chorus and a barbershop chorus. As a teenager his Dixieland band performed on Ron Drake’s “Teen Time TV Show” in Harrisburg and on “Ted Mack Amateur Hour” in New York City.
He played trumpet for vaudville and variety shows featurning Gordon McCrae, Jonathan Winters, Ed McMahon, Bobby Troup, Julie London and Mel Torme. Moyer organized the Lebanon Communty Concert Band, the Lebanon Big Swing Band and the Bologna City Jazz Band.
More than 30 different theme programs are available. Duo also available; includes vocalist Ricky Herb.
